Cute Molly Fairy

Hiya Crafties!!!

Bad girl me! Late again!

Is it only my January sooo crazy hectic?

Today DT card for Conie Fong Art & Design with sweet image called Molly Fairy.

I'll be honest with you... I decided to play a bit with my Prismacolors and find new blends - specially for skin and hair (new for me I mean).

My Molly has bit darker skin now (really hard to make good pic to show it) and very nice hair - mix of black, tuscan red, sienna brown, metallic gold, ginger root and cream.

Also added bit of glitter glue on turquoise bits of her clothing.

Decided to use my new dies too.

What do you think about my card?

By the way... I was busy with jewellery making for Valentine's craft fair ... all my new pieces you can find on my other blog: Copper Tobi.

That's all for today.

Till next post Friends!

Molly Fairy

Hiya Crafties!!!

Today card I should have ready to share with you yesterday... Bad girl me...

So... to the point!

New month starts and Spring is coming...

My card should be Springy then... so....

Why I choose purples for it??? No idea :)

This little cutie is called Molly Fairy and you can find her in Conie Fong's etsy shop just here.

She's perfect for birthday cards, Mother's Day cards etc.

As you can see I choose simple, clear layout with only one patterned paper (leaves in few shades of purple) and gold mirri card for layering.
I cut out image, layered on gold, cut out again, placed on base, added sentiment, 3 pearls and card is done!

Hope you like it :)

I want to enter it to:

That's all for now.

Hiya crafty peeps!!!

Did you ever have situation like this???

I think I need reminders placed in my mobile :)

But stop this moaning girls and boys :), time for my newest, simple card with fairy from Kinda Cute by Patricia.

Fairy...

Hiya Friends!

Oh, wasn't writing for a bit... midterm break for my lil boy 😊. Also my man took few days of holiday, so we spent some time on short trips.

This cute pie was waiting a bit to be placed on card, so.. today 'Lil Bookworm Fairy' created by Ching Chou Kuik.

I decided to use rather pastel colours on it, soft beige, light blue, gold, bit of red, orange, yellow and olive.
I distressed edges of all layers with scissors and added nice piece of twine with gold thread to make a bow.

We can say kind of rustic look.

What do you think about my card?

Hope you like it 😊.

Friendship card

Hi Crafties!!!

Today my dears - friendship card.

Sometime ago I played with stamps and kraft cards. After colouring with pencils images looked very nice, but we can say they were waiting a bit to be used 😊.

Today's card centrepiece is cute fairy friends image from Lili of the Valley.

I used kraft card for base and 3 patterned papers for layers.

Result below:

I do 😊.

Vintage and shabby chic style

I love vintage/shabby chic style cards.

So about last Easter time, when playing with tag puncher and stamps with Dom (he loves using puncher :) , I decided that I'll give a go :) .

I stamped image and sentiment in chocolate brown on cream card and add some delicate colouring with green, yellow and pink pencils.

Then I was in proper dilemma with papers and ribbons :)

After some thinking, inking, distressing and sticking papers together...

Full view :)

I used light pinky floral paper, piece of pink paper, and yellowish paper as layering for stamp and sentiment. I inked and distressed rants of each piece of paper to gain 'old look' effect and delicate lace for adding extra texture to it.

I think card looks nice - but pic is bit too dark...

I made few more shabby chic style cards (and sold them via my little etsy shop).

I'm not using too many decorative elements on my cards from practical reasons, my cards are not boxed and some elements could be damaged in transport. In that case I'm using only ribbons, laces and gems.
Hope you like these few cards examples :)
