Egg hunt

Hiya Crafties!

Today my last Easter cards for 2018. Fact - didn't make a lots of them... but also didn't need much, so...

Cuties from Polkadoodles 😊. Whole set of digis plus papers called Tatty Twinkle Easter, check here.

Just few pieces here (sorry for dark photo).

For my cards I decided to use paper from my stash...

Number 1 with wooden butterfly as extra touch :)

Number 2 - Easter egg hunt scene :)

Both cards already send away to our family :)

Twinkle Tulips

Hello Crafties!

Today I want to share with you card with cute image from Polkadoodles called Twinkle Tulips.

This little cutie is perfect for almost any occasion.

Birthday card in pinks and greens from me here :) 

Just bold pink card for layers, one floral paper, piece of lace, round sentiment (LOTV if I'm not wrong), die-cut butterfly and card done :)

Bit of prehistory ;)

Prehistory?

My son is dinosaurs fan, but who said girls not love them too?

Today's project: birthday card with cute image from Polkadoodles called: 'Walk the dinosaur girl' from Sticks & Bones Collection ( http://www.polkadoodles.co.uk/dinosaur-downloads/).

As usual I coloured image with pencils. 

For this card I decided to use 2 patterned floral papers with piece of bold bright orange paper between them to coordinate them with colours I used on image.

For sentiment I used clear stamp from AppleBlossom Design. Both image and sentiment I distressed with scissors and shaded with orange pencil.

As extra touch I added 2 die-cut and handcoloured butterflies on top right side of my card.

Watercolour pencils in card making.

I have 2 boxes of watercolour pencils... hardly used them before...

I'm not great with drawing but... do I really need to draw to have a proper use for my pencils?

I know one thing for sure - lots of practice in front of me 😊.

Here one of my first watercolour 'landscapes' 😊.

Cherry blossoms tree - kind of funny looking, but hey.. i'm learning 😊.

Then I thought: Why not try use them on stamps?

Monarch - image created by Ching Chou Kuik. Here used bit different technique and less water 😊.

So, my friends.. what do you think about using watercolours for card making? Good idea or not?
