For my last card I choose image called Butterfly.

Aqua and brown combo for my new make and simple layout.

Image coloured with Prismacolor pencils as usual.

I used mix of designer and handmade papers for this card.

I know it's time to think about Christmas, but...

Hiya crafty peeps!

Today my rather late DT card for Conie Fong Art and Design.

For my today's card I choose beautiful Isabella Blossoms.

Colour scheme: blue - orange/yellow.

To colour image I used Prismacolor pencils as usual :)

I decided to use one bold and two patterned papers plus few 'goldish' gems to create my card.

I hope you like my new creation.

Kimono Kayuki

Honestly... time flies... and I'm not crafting as much as I wish to...

Today my DT project for Conie Fong Art & Design. For my card I choose one of Conie's new images called Kimono Kayuki.

She's  sweet, isn't she?

As you can see I back to pencils :) Prismacolor Premier again LOL!

Against grey days and cold I decided to make my card in Spring-y colour scheme with greens and pinks.

I used mix of DP and handmade papers I had in my stash. You can see yellow dry flowers between fibers on green base layer, but unfortunately photo not showing sparkle on floral DP.

For extra pinky bit I added few opaque gems so card not look 'empty'.

September with Fabrika Fantasy

Hiya crafty peeps!!!

September starts... Kids are coming back to school :)

We are starting new challenge in Crafts Galore Encore Challenge Blog. This month sponsor: Fabrika Fantasy. Winner of this month challenge will get 3 their digis.

For my DT project I choose Flying Elf. 

As I'm bit busy with preps for new school year and don't have much time for coloring I decided to use pre-colored image. 

I printed it 3 times and cut out one with circle die and fussy cut 2 others. Then stick them together with foam pads to build up 3D image.

I used butterfly printed grey paper as most of card base to make image stand out and I hope you like result.

For Lynne

Hiya crafty peeps!

Are you often making personalised birthday cards? Not for family or friends, but for people you don't personally know?

I'm not making many cards like that really, they are challenging 😊.

Today's card is for Lynne - girlfriend of my man's work mate son... phew hope you understand what I wanted to say LOL!

What I know about Lynne? Name, age and that she loves books, not much... but enough to make nice card I think 😊.

For this card I choose 'Lil Bookworm Fairy' from Ching Chou Kuik.

I thought my card will look nice with a bit of vintage touch. Brownish/turquoise and pinkish papers, image and sentiment shaded with copper inkpad on edges plus piece of cream lace.

Could add few goldish pearls but decided not to as sometimes less is more.

Bit Mexican?

Today my very late DT card for Kinda Cute by Patricia with one of my fave Patricia's images: Sevillana.

I decided to play with washi tapes again :)

Hope you like this Mexican like combo :)

This time my little dancer is blonde and her dress is red and aquamarine.

Sentiment and extras also from washi tape set :)

Sorry for pic... technology didn't want to cooperate with me... ehhh.

Hiya crafty peeps!

Long time didn't write here or make a card... Have less time now for card making with craft fairs, helping friend on events and starting new work soon. 

Plus my little mister (he's 7 now) had little accident at school last week and finished with big bump on his forehead, lots of scratches on his face and visit at hospital. 

Joy of being Mum!!! LOL!

Today - my DT card for Conie Fong Art & Design.

I can say I'm addicted to this cute image - Molly's basket of love.

For background and sentiment I used washi tape - free gift from issue 192 of Papercraft Inspirations magazine.

I also used black card for crispy look :)

I colored her with Prismacolor pencils and played a bit with circle dies.

Decided to add few banners and 'happy birthday' sentiment to have this little project complete.

Celebrating piglet

Hiya Crafties!

Today - DT project for Conie Fong Art with cute Curly Piglet.

Image colored with Prismacolor pencils as usual :)

I decided to use papers from Crelando 'Summer' Patterned Paper pack, which make this card perfect for little boy or girl birthday.

Both chosen papers are bit sparkly, I layered them on bold green cardstock.

Then added sentiment, also layered on green paper and my card is done.

I'm not perfect with animal coloring and definitely I'm not using embossing folders to often... so

I decided to make card with only few colors and finally use one of embossing folders I have in my stash...

Hiya Crafties!

Today DT project for Conie Fong Art & Design and special request in one.

My man's work mate asked for Birthday card for his partner, personalised, with flowers.

Only image I could think of straight away was Peony Delight from Conie's etsy shop.

I coloured it with Prismacolors, then used circle die on it.

As I wanted to make this card with bit of vintage/shabby chic twist I used kinda 'dirty' green patterned papers divided with pinky/purple one. I distressed all layers with scissors, shaded image with mulberry pencil, added crochet trim, 2 goldish pearls, sentiment and...

voila!

Card is done :)

I really like the ending result :)

For Grace

Hiya Crafties!!!

Today something special.

Card and mixed media canvas made for my son's school friend - Grace. Dom is going for her birthday party this Sunday :)

For her card he choose image and sentiment from TiddlyInks set called Happy Day. Plus we agreed card will be shaker not simple one :)

I used 2 ptterned papers and lots of gold mirri card :) Plus gold glitter glue on image and gold tiny bits in shaker window.

Below mixed media canvas.

I played with tissue paper on this one as original idea didn't work - glittery paint we bought was a mess!!!

I covered canvas with tissue paper stick to it with nice coat of pinky acrylic paint, then after drying add shading with oil pastels in green and yellow plus some silver glitter glue and to finish it stick prepared butterflies (stamped, coloured and cut out).

I hope she will like her gift :)

Birthday with mermaid

Hi Crafties!!!

I should share this card with you yesterday... looks like weekend, my man's birthday and back pains are not good for my memory (and schedule)...

Today's project: birthday card/ DT card with cute Mermaid from Kinda Cute by Patricia.

I coloured her with my Prismacolor pencils and added few splashes of silver glitter glue on her necklace, hairs and tail.

Card size: 145 x 145 mm

Pinkish/greenish main layer plus few scraps in mixed colours, patterns and textures papers as a background for my mermaid plus sentiment stamp on scrap of light blue paper.

Floral birthday

Today simple birthday card. I made this one for my man.

Card size: 120 x 120 mm.

Other materials used:

* white textured card for base

* silver glitter glue 

* colourful paper scraps

* floral stamp 

* sentiment stamp

* pva glue

Elf princess

Hello crafty peeps!!!

I love fantasy books, all elves, trolls, ogres etc!

So today...

Beautiful Elf Princess created by Yasmeen Eldahan known as YamPuff - check her web.

Sorry for bit too dark pics, but weather here really not help and even with all lights on... my phone just refusing to take nice photos... eh technology...

Card size: 145 x 145 mm.

1st layer: 140 x 140 mm.

2nd layer (with scalloped window): 135 x 135 mm.

I coloured my princess with Prismacolor pencils.

As you can see I used 2 patterned papers for my little project, bit of gold mirri card, some foam pads to lift up second layer, image and sentiment. Also decided to add 'branch' die for extra touch.
