For my Dad

Hiya Crafties!

I was always kinda curious, why cards for men are sooo... monochromatic... mostly blue, brown or... hmmm hard to explain really...

Do men really like to receive so 'boring' cards? I mean.. so hardly 'happy' cards???

Don't know... but my man and my son, and definitely my Dad love cheerful, colourful cards :)

Card I made this year for Father's Day for my Dad is kinda 'girly' with cute image from TiddlyInks :) I bet he will smile when open his post next week (Father's Day in Poland is 23rd June).

As per my latest addiction, background is made with washi tapes LOL!

Image colored with Prismacolor pencils as usual.

Father's Day and washing tapes

Hiya crafty friends!

I think I'm kinda addicted from washi tapes :)

I needed few Father's Day cards to have ready for Father's Day Craft day in my new place of work...

Didn't have lots of time due to other things (eg. baking cupcakes for charity event we have there tomorrow), so I decided to use washi tapes for silly backgrounds, minimal coloring and very simple layout.

All card (6 of them) are 13.5 cm x 13.5 cm.

Sorry if pics are not too clear or seems too shiny... Technology sometimes doesn't want cooperate.

What do you think about them?

For Lynne

Hiya crafty peeps!

Are you often making personalised birthday cards? Not for family or friends, but for people you don't personally know?

I'm not making many cards like that really, they are challenging 😊.

Today's card is for Lynne - girlfriend of my man's work mate son... phew hope you understand what I wanted to say LOL!

What I know about Lynne? Name, age and that she loves books, not much... but enough to make nice card I think 😊.

For this card I choose 'Lil Bookworm Fairy' from Ching Chou Kuik.

I thought my card will look nice with a bit of vintage touch. Brownish/turquoise and pinkish papers, image and sentiment shaded with copper inkpad on edges plus piece of cream lace.

Could add few goldish pearls but decided not to as sometimes less is more.

Hiya Crafties!!!

Today my DT creations (and not only mine) for Crafts Galore Encore Challenge Blog sponsored by Vera Lane Studio this month.

I decided to make AT Coins this time and choose images from Farm Animals set 2 for them.

Some closed ups :)

Plus extra one made by my 7 years old son :) He enjoyed making this one :)

As you can see, we both played with washi tapes LOL! We love it!

Dom used his markers to color his doggy (I print image bit bigger for him), I used Prismacolor pencils to color mine.
