Monoprints, inks and ATCs

Hiya Crafties!

Today something different 😊.  My son is home cause Easter break, so.. Mummy needs to entertain her crafty little man 😊.

I decided to show him how to make monoprints...

We used rather big ceramic tile, acrylics and... soft pastels, so... we actually made mixed media pieces. One piece of his big homework done here :)

Later I was dealing with ATC I planned ages ago... Die-cut some pieces to use as masks, took inks and...

'Mum, can I play with inks too?'

What I supposed to say???
 :)

And here my ATC :)

I want to enter my ATC here:

That's all for today!

Till next post peeps!

Little something for special Lady 😊

Hiya crafty friends!!!

Last year I met some very nice girl on Twitter. Sammie is blogger, baking/cooking blogger - brilliant one :) - check: Sammie's blog.

She asked me for Valentine's card for her Hubby... that was challenge as I haven't alphabet stamps and amount of heart stamps in my stash is... near to none, challenge really!

Had some chat with her and she choose one of cards I already made (CAS with mice :)).

She's a darling and I couldn't sent her only card she chosen :)

So... I add this ATC made specially for her :) Hope she will like it :)

Image and sentiment: Happy Bugg from Tiddly Inks coloured with Prismacolors. Piece of creamy/pinky stripy paper, scrap of white ribbon and 4 goldish pearls and my ATC done.

What do you think about my little project?

Till next post!!!

Bears

Hello, hello my crafty Friends!

Today - bears 😊 and my newest DT project for Kinda Cute by Patricia.

I was sitting and thinking how to use all cute bears from a set Patricia has in her shop... one square card? Naaah!! These cutie pies asking for something else :)

So... instead of one card I made three 😊. Three ATC cards! Simply because I decided to use some scrap papers I found in my stash.

Colour combination used here: cream, gold and brown.

All three cards are made with cream cardstock, shaded with dark brown pencil with 'birthday' sentiments stamped all over with gold ink. Pieces of patterned paper, gold mirri card and chocolate brown ribbon added to give extra texture.

What do you think?

ATC? What is it?

Hello peeps!

Few days ago I heard about ATC cards... I was like: What is it? Kind of card? But... What exactly?

If you never heard about them, here you can find some info:  https://www.strathmoreartist.com/cards-atc.html.

What I love about this cards? Answer: you can use anything you have (eg. scraps papers), any technique (eg. mixed media) you wish to make miniature masterpiece - really!

Only rule: size - 2.5 x 3.5 inches. Rest depends from your creativity, your imagination :)

I have lots of scraps, so I thought: Why not try? Results? Check below :)

'Butterflies' - my first ATC :)

I used scrap of green paper which was used for die-cutting butterfies before. I decided to cut this piece to ATC card size, then stamped sentiment on it and placed on piece of white cardstock scrap which I shaded with pencils and stamped in green with little butterflies. To finish my little card I used some glitter glue here and there and added die-cut butterfly, which I shaded with pencils and glittered a bit.

'Birthday' - one more try with ATC.

Glittery, pinky grey little piece with sweet image called : Bella with gift from Conie Fong Art and Design (you can find this cutie here: https://www.etsy.com/uk/listing/525401205/digital-stamp-digi-stamp-digistamp-bella?ref=shop_home_active_12).
To be honest with you I was thinking few good weeks what to do with this image as I coloured and cut it out few months ago... She is perfect birthday girl :) And here I found idea and solution for my crafty dilemma :) I shaded piece of white card with lavender pencil and stamped it with 'happy birthday' sentiment, then added piece of torn patterned paper, scrap of white ribbon and prepared image. To finish it I used bit of glitter glue to give it a little sparkle :)

I love ATC cards me :) I saw some proper masterpieces on net - just check Pinterest or Google it - you'll be surprised!

Hope you like my attempts :)

Till next post friends!
