Who doesn't love penguins?

Hiya crafty friends!

So... who?

I love them 😊. Specially one, called Snowy, created by Conie Fong 😊.

Recently Conie added 2 new images to her esty shop with this cutie pie 😊, and my today's project (actually 2) is with one of these images.

Why 2?

Answer is very simple... I couldn't decide in which colour scheme I want him 😊.

Image is called Snowy Birthday Presents and you can find it here: https://www.etsy.com/uk/listing/546658826/sale-digital-stamp-digi-stamp-digistamp?ref=shop_home_active_3

Here my Snowy for girl:

Snowy in blues, purples and yellows.

To make these cards I played with Lili of the Valley card sketches which I found on Pinterest 😊.

What do you think about them?

Halloween soon

Hiya crafty peeps!

Need to tell you one thing... Halloween cards are so difficult to do... cause Halloween for me is still something I watched in TV when I was kid... kinda American thing... something not 'ours' (I was born and bred in Poland).

Today's card was born in pains I can say 😊. I was working on it yesterday - beautiful image from Conie Fong, coloured and only waiting to be placed on card and then after cutting papers, etc... whole thing just didn't look right... total rubbish for me personally.

I sat and thought hard what to do to rescue it, I didn't want to loose so cute already coloured image.

Today I went to print out some free Halloween papers from Sizzix and start to deal with my card.

In some point even thought to make Halloweeny bookmark, and...

No, I didn't make a bookmark 😊

Here's my card:

Rather simple, tall card with few layers of bold papers lightly distressed on edges.

That's all for today friends 😊.

Till next post!

Moon glow

Hiya crafty friends!

Today I will show you beautiful image created by Hannah Lynn called Moon Glow not a card.

Why?

Answer: I didn't feel comfy with big images (eg. A4 size) and decided to challenge myself 😊.

To be honest with you my confidence built up a bit after colouring Vampirella but... I wanted to practice more with hair colouring, colour blending and shading (Kit and Clowder classes: free: markers 101, technique class with La La Land Marcia stamp and my only one pencils monthly class from October last year with Halloween image ).

So here beautiful 'Moon Glow' step by step:

I used Artist's Loft Fundamentals pencils.

Hair: red-brown, orange and light orange
Eyes: emerald green and yellow green
Skin: ivory

Lips: cherry red
Tattoo, moon and shinies: golden yellow, lemon yellow and ivory yellow
Sky: dark blue

For her clothes I used: gold, lavender and blue violet
Flower: gold, pink, dark pink, lavender, multicolour glitter glue
Wings: gold, yellow-green, dark pink, lavender, blue violet, Deep fuchsia from Derwent Coloursoft and multicolour glitter glue.

If you fall in love with this image you can find it in this colouring book: http://www.hannahlynnart.com/store/p1026/PDF_Enchanted_Faces_%28Full_Size%29_Coloring_Book--INSTANT_DOWNLOAD.html.

What do you think about my new colouring?

Till next post friends!!!

Autumn girl

Hiya crafty friends!!!

Around start of this month I coloured cute image created by Julia Spiri with  girl sitting on a mushroom, just perfect for nice Autumn birthday card and today decided that is time to make one :)

I had some proper thinking about which papers should I use for this project and, believe it or not, I dig deep in my paper box :)

I choose 2 patterned papers and use the same layout as on my Christmas card with gnomes few posts ago: http://tobicards.blogspot.co.uk/2017/08/i-love-gnomes.html.

For finishing touches I distressed and shaded sentiment and added few gems to my card.

I want to enter this little project to:
 Challenge #26 at: http://worldwideopendesignteamchallenge.blogspot.co.uk
and
September Challenge at: http://cck-digitalstamps-challenge.blogspot.co.uk.

That's all for today!

Vampirella

Hello hello crafty friends!

Few posts ago I was showing you pics of my progress in colouring class I have from Kit and Clowder (http://www.kitandclowder.com/) since last year.

As for classes we don't have to use the same images as Alyce do, I printed out beauty called Vampirella created by Hannah Lynn.

Took me few days to finish whole image, but thanks to Alyce's class I learned few tricks and techniques 😊.

So here is my Vampirella coloured with Artist's Loft pencils plus Deep Fuchsia from Derwent ColourSoft with addition of tiny bit of silver glitter glue :)

You can find her in Hannah's shop as one of images in colouring book: http://www.hannahlynnart.com/store/p1028/PDF_Enchanted_Halloween_Coloring_Book--INSTANT_DOWNLOAD_.html

If you like images like this one definitely check Hannah's shop: http://www.hannahlynnart.com/, you'll find few nice freebies there too ;)

That's all for today!

I decided to make CAS card with bit of sparkle.

For my project I used: 3 patterned papers, silver mirri card, bit of glitter glue in different colours and bow made from silver ribbon.

To colour image I used Artist's Loft pencils: ivory, golden yellow, lemon yellow, light orange, lavender, dark pink, ocean blue, spring bud and gold.

Edges of image and sentiment I shaded lightly with blue pencil.

I want to enter this card to Challenge #26 at worldwideopendesignteamchallenge.blogspot.co.uk.

Colouring class - October

Hiya Friends!!!

I have to tell you: I'm bad, lazy girl!! Really!

Why?

My man bought me a colouring monthly class at http://www.kitandclowder.com/. That was last year! Beautiful October class with Alyce Keegan (great teacher and owner of Kit and Clowder) colouring beautiful image created by Ching Chou Kuik ( her images you can find here: https://www.etsy.com/uk/shop/gjzcck).

And?

I watched tutorial - partially - last year, even used some of techniques showed there in my colouring, but...

Never done this class properly!!! Shocking!!!

So...

This year, actually few days ago I decided to finally make it properly.

As I don't have in my files Ching's image which was used by Alyce, I choose to colour beautiful creation of Hannah Lynn ( check her stuff here: http://www.hannahlynnart.com/).

My progress so far:

Skin - 3 shades of green.

Eyes and lips - 2 shades of violet plus gold on jewellery.

Hair - black, lavender, yellow-green, gold.

Not sure yet what colours I use on her clothes, but I'm determined to finish this class :)

That's all for today peeps!

Till next post!

Girly and poshy 😉

Hiya crafty friends!

Today card with gorgeous freebie from All Dressed Up Stamps.

To be honest with you I coloured this beauty in mid of last week when sitting at Cafe with frappucino and piece of cake near me 😊. Serving girl asked me if I draw this beauty and I answered that I'm only colouring her as I'm not skilled enough to draw anything more then funny houses and trees 😊.

As you see I decided to make 'tall' card in place of usual squarish one 😊. I choose 2 patterned papers with pink, both image and sentiment I shaded with fuchsia pencil.

Underneath image I added 2 pieces of white lace and for finishing touch decided to place 2 pale pink buttons on my card.

I want to entry this card to:
* challenge 40 at thecraftyaddicts.blogspot.co.uk
and
* challenge #201 at http://avenue613.blogspot.co.uk.

That's all for today!

Till next post friends!

Welcome Baby

Hello, hello my crafty Friends!

Today my first DT card for Kinda Cute by Patricia and first for ages baby card 😊.

For my today's project I used cute image called Stork and Elephant.

I decided to print this image straight onto card base, colour it and add stamp with sentiment.

To be honest with you this is my second or maybe third card made this way.

Check also Patricia's shop for more (she also offer few free images if you are interested): https://kindacutebypatricia.com/.

When colouring my card I masked image and shaded upper part with blue pencil - also created little clouds there :). Bottom part I shaded with green pencil and then coloured rest of image. I made elephant's blanket lavender cause I thought this will be perfect for little girl.

Sorry for so dark photo, but weather here is 'funny' and all my pics are not bright enough even for my liking.

That's all for today!

Hope you like my little card.

Till next post!

Heart cupcake Marcia

Hello hello crafty friends!

Today's project will contain cute image called Heart Cupcake Marcia - La La Land freebie for Kit and Clowder 15k members party.

I coloured Marcia for Confidence challenge at K&C by finishing one of colouring classes.

Today finally found bit of time to place her on card 😊.

Before I placed her on my card I splashed her dress and shoes with bit of glitter glue and cut her our. As I made her dress green I decided that papers I use for this project will have no green on, only yellow, orange and shades of brown. I distressed them with scissors before stick them together.

To make card bit softer in look I cut out circle doily (Tonic Studios) and used it as kinda frame for Marcia.

Then added sentiment from Sweet Dixie set.

What do you think about this card?

Till next post friends!

Molly Cutie

Hiya all!!!

It is not easy for me making cards lately... have nerve trapped in my back and sitting in one position for some time not helping... But... I'm tough cookie ;) so...

Another Christmassy card - this time Molly Cutie created by Conie Fong.  Just tell me: Is it possible do not love this image?

For my little project I choose traditional Christmas colours: red, green with gold :) I coloured image with my trusty pencils as always ;) and decided to play a bit with papers and layouts. Here result:

For extra touches I added twine 'goldish' bow, piece of lace and little bit of silver glitter glue on Molly's pom-pom and on snow under her feet.

What do you think?
Is it nice?

Till next post friends!!!

Bella Rose

Hello, hello my crafty Friends!

Today I have for you card with newest image created by Conie Fong called Bella Rose.

I was thinking hard what colour scheme I should use for this beauty and decided make her kinda autumny with cream, gold, copper and brown.

To colour her I used my Artist's Loft pencils: ivory, gold, light brown, medium brown and dark brown. For bit of sparkle I added gold glitter glue on dress and roses.

As I wanted to give this card some textures I decided to mix handmade papers with designer papers and metallic, hammered copper cardstock. Copper paper I used for die cuts - leaves and heart, handmade papers I torn in squarish shape; designer paper, image and sentiment distressed with scissors.
Image and sentiment I also shaded lightly with medium brown pencil.

For final touch I added bow made from golden ribbon and add bit of gold glitter glue on sentiment.

Hope you like my new card.

Till next post!!!

Use 2+ patterned papers

Hello, hello my crafty Friends!!!

Today my new DT card for Conie Fong - September challenge: Use 2+ patterned papers.

As I love cute animal images, for this challenge card I choose image called: Pepper with Flowers.

For my card I decided to use few scraps from Dovecraft paper pad 'Sweet Paris', bold light pink cardstock, piece of goldish ribbon and lavender gems.

Image I coloured with my Artist's Loft pencils, cut it out, layered on piece of pinky card and cut out again to make a topper.

I decided to stamp my sentiment (free gift from one of crafty magazines) on pink card just underneath my patterned banners.

What do you think about this little project?

Like it?

That's all from me today :)

Till next post friends!!!
