Today short post with my DT card for Kinda Cute by Patricia.

I decided to use Princess Snow to make early Valentine card.

Image coloured with Prismacolor pencils as usual.

I added few splashes of glitter glue for a little bit of sparkle.

Bee mine!

Hiya Crafties!

Today bit different Valentine's card 😊.

Sometime ago I bought stamp set with bees...

and I decided to 'go with the flow' if I can say that, as bees are in 'fashion' lately. You can see them almost everywhere - specially in jewellery

To make my card I used stamps from set and few of my letter stamps to add 'mine' word.

All in yellow shades as you see, cause.. who said Valentine card should be red???

All layers of my card are distressed with scissors.

Image 'piece' is shaded with yellow pencils.

Cute Molly Fairy

Hiya Crafties!!!

Bad girl me! Late again!

Is it only my January sooo crazy hectic?

Today DT card for Conie Fong Art & Design with sweet image called Molly Fairy.

I'll be honest with you... I decided to play a bit with my Prismacolors and find new blends - specially for skin and hair (new for me I mean).

My Molly has bit darker skin now (really hard to make good pic to show it) and very nice hair - mix of black, tuscan red, sienna brown, metallic gold, ginger root and cream.

Also added bit of glitter glue on turquoise bits of her clothing.

Decided to use my new dies too.

What do you think about my card?

By the way... I was busy with jewellery making for Valentine's craft fair ... all my new pieces you can find on my other blog: Copper Tobi.

Llamas :)

Hiya crafty Friends!

Today fast, animal Valentine's card and my first this year DT card for Kinda Cute by Patricia :)

Image from set called Llama.

I think this is very cute animal :)

Sorry for dark pic, so hard to have good light during winter months...

To colour him/her I used only few pencils from my Prismacolor box: 

* blush pink and white for nose and 'toes'

* cream and white for fur

* peach, light peach, deco peach and white for 'face' and ears :)

I added few shady hearts on card base - I cut out little heart stencil from paper and used blush pink pencil on it.

As I don't have too many Valentine sentiments I decided to use Tredat to make my own wording.

Maybe my card looks silly, but I like it :)

Penguin for Valentine's

Hiya Crafties!!!

I'm really, totally behind schedule!!!

My New Year's resolution was being on time with DT cards and back to jewellery making... 

So far... eh... to make long story short: back pains hardly help with colouring, trying to find a job plus few unexpected and stressful situations occurred... life!

No point to think and talk about it here, so back to... cardmaking :)

My first this month/year DT card for Conie Fong Art and Design.

I choose one of last year images called Penguin Heartstrings as I love this cutie guy :)

Just look at him!

I decided to not add any sentiment to it as image screams 'Valentine's' to me.

Image coloured with Prismacolor pencils as usual - light pinks and aquamarines to match chosen papers.

Papers layered on silver mirri card.

 As you can see I used layout with kinda double window :)

Cute piglet

Hiya crafties!!!

Sorry for not being here for a bit... midterm break 😊.

I want to share with you Valentine's card I made for my partner.

For this card I used newest image from Conie Fong, this cutie is called Curly Piglet..

For my sentiments I used pieces from Candy Hearts set from Kraftin Kimmie.

Sentiments and piece of piggie bow I lift up with foam pads for 3D effect.

Valentine's Penguins

Hello crafty friends!

I'm kinda back o track :)

Today I have 2 cards for you with cute penguins from Conie Fong's new release.

You can find both images in her Etsy shop in special intro price, so...

For each card I used 2 patterned papers and either gold or silver mirri card to match chosen colour scheme.

Mice & CAS

Hello my crafty Friends!

Today - CAS card plus back to spotlight technique :).

Why?

Challenge at CASology .

Just couldn't not try :).

For this little project I decided to use cute mice from Penny Black.

So.. bit of stamping, die-cutting, colouring, shading, sticking together with trusty sticky tape and voila!

Today I have for you card with one of older images from KK stamps: Svetlana.

Red and gold colour combo - good for birthday or Valentines or to say something important to someone we care about for :)

So...

Gold mirri card for layering, red-brownish heart patterned paper plus fancy oval die was my choice for today's project. I think all works perfect together :)

Summer Ladies

Today I have three cards for you instead of usual one. Why?

Beautiful new release at Conie Fong Art & Design :)

I tried my hardest to make all three cards different, so... different colour scheme, different layout on each of them.

Meet Summer Bride

I decided to make this card in pink/white colour combo to have a chance to use pale pink handmade paper I found hidden deep in my stash :) 

So... simple card design, only 3 layers of paper, piece of ribbon, image and sentiment distressed and shaded on edges with pencils plus bit of glitter glue.

This card turned out sooo delicate in look, exactly as I wanted.

Plan for this card was: I want it look kinda shaby chic/vintage, so...

Here we have turquoise, beige, olive and gold. I used 3 patterned papers, piece of ribbon and twine bow for nice feminine finish.

Total fave of my man :)

For this sweet image I choose silver/blue colour combo. I coloured image with 2 shades of blue and silver and decided to be rather minimalistic if I can say that :) I choose 2 papers: bold light blue and kinda steel blue floral paper, layered them on silver mirri card, image and sentiment I shaded with pencils and also layered on silver mirri. To balance whole design I add piece of white lace on the bottom of the card.

Hedgehog :)

Hello all!

Hedgehogs are cute, aren't they?

Did you ever saw hedgehogs on stamp sets created by Penny Black? I'm lucky to have 2 sets (want more! ).

We met this cutie pie during one of our trips to Brocksbushes Farm for strawberry picking :)

Below my latest card - CAS in green (shame photo is sooo dark...).

I used image and sentiment from Penny Black's set called The Touch of Love.

I decided to use only 2 patterned papers for this little project. Image, sentiment and lighter paper I shaded with green pencil on edges. I added few green gems and ribbon for finishing touch.

Time for love in your cards

Valentine's Day, Anniversary, Engagement, Wedding cards... yeah lots of cards showing LOVE!

Did you ever stuck?

Sit and think: What stamp? What die? Flowers? More hearts? What sentiment?

Possibly you did.

Cause you simply don't want to give your love ones cards looked the same every year right?

I'm in this position every year, cause my crafty stash is limited and my man is dog lover...

But as crafters we always have a chance to find solution, internet is full of ideas plus we don't need material stamp (rubber or silicone) anymore to make new card - digis are answer for our dilemmas :)

I'm still discovering this new for me stamp world and believe it or not I'm becoming addict!!!

Cards for family - birthday and Valentines

Since I started my adventure with card making I made lots of different kinds of cards - for family, friends, neighbours, for sale and for practising :).

Card making is very creative hobby, something perfect for artistic souls - you don't need to be painter or be great with drawing - you just need to have no fear, artist is in every person, sometimes just hidden deep inside, you don't know that if you not try, so.... have a go!

In this post I'll show few cards I made for my man and our parents. Just few, cause don't see a point to overload any of you with photos :).

2015 - bit of goth :) plus doggy - my man is proper dog lover :)

Making cards giving a chance to play with colours, textures, dies, images, you can use buttons, feathers - almost anything to create something amazing, something that will be loved and treasured by a person who receive it.

That is why I'm doing it :) cause I love to give something made by myself, something one of a kind :) Cause every piece you make is One Of  A Kind.
