Stone art

Hiya crafty friends!!

Today's post will be about... decorating stones with children :).

Idea came to me through FB group called Northumberland Rocks.

First you decorate pebbles, then you're hiding them somewhere to be found :).

So... today morning we picked some pebbles from our front garden with Dom and decorated them with paints, markers and glitter glue. Dom enjoyed whole process a lot :)

Results:

We were in local park to hide them plus to find artsy stones hidden by others from Northumberland Rocks group. We found few great ones!!!

Below our stone picture made on canvas with using sea glass, beach pebbles, shell and driftwood :)

I'm thinking about framing this one :)

That's all for today peeps!!!

Till next post!

Christmas Wishes

Hello peeps!!!

Christmas cardmaking in full swing? No? Yes?

Today little Christmas project with cute image called 'Sally and Snowball' created by Conie Fong.

Have to say one thing, it is not a card, it is rather postcard 😊.

Wanted to check my new toy (Crelando paper cutter), given me by friend - thank you Tracey!

Base: white cardstock cut with Crelando toy 😊, shaded with emerald green pencil (Artist's Loft), added 2 pieces of Christmas patterned paper and piece of white ribbon.

Image I coloured with pencils, added bit of glitter glue, cut out and layered on gold mirri card and cut out again to make topper.

To finish my project I added snowflake charm, gold ribbon bow and sentiment cut out with my new cutter, shaded with green pencil with dots of gold glitter glue.

What do you think  of it?

I like ending result :)

Till next post Friends!!!

We're painting 🌻

Hello, hello!!!

I was bit busy lately my friends, trying to entertain children in school age is not easy as you already knows 😊.

So... we spent lots of time outside and all crafting had to go aside...

One day last week or maybe 2 weeks ago (not sure really now) I found cute small easel in one of shops and thought: This will be great for showing properly my cards.
It cost next to nothing and had little canvas added to it. I didn't have any specific idea what to do with canvas but...
After we back home my son decided he wants it, so..
I explained him that he needs his brush and paints and you know what? He smiled and said: I want it😊.

I placed piece of paper on his table, canvas on it, gave him brush, bit of water and his paints and results of this you can see below. He called it: Circlsies  (title inspiration from one of children's books we read 😁).

Around the same time I started colouring beautiful image created by Hannah Lynn - still have lots left 😊.

We were on few little trips. I bought few more canvas (bit bigger then this which Dom used), I was curious if he'll use them too. He did, but he prefers smaller scale 😊. My little minimalist 😊.
One of these canvas left, we tried to convince Dom to use it, but he wasn't interested, so I had a go 😊. Little landscape 😊.

What do you think?

Till next post friends!

Colouring challenge with Kit and Clowder

Hiya my Crafty Friends!!!

Today - card for latest colouring challenge at Kit and Clowder FB group.

Image: Delilah from Conie Fong Art etsy shop ( you can find it here: https://www.etsy.com/uk/listing/546518549/digital-stamp-digi-stamp-digistamp?ref=shop_home_active_1).

I coloured her with my pencils ;) and then add some glitter glue on:

I die cut some butterflies from gold mirri card and bold lavender cardstock, stick the together and add splash of glitter on them too.

As you could see on first photo I used rather simple layout with one glittery patterned floral paper and piece of orange cardstock as layering for my image.

Edges of image, sentiment and orange layer piece I distressed with scissors and for final touch I added 2 green gems on sentiment piece.

Hope you like my challenge entry :)

Till next post Friends!!!

Bouquet Benny

Hi crafty friends!!!

Today I have for you card with cute image created by Conie Fong called Bouquet Benny.

I wanted this card to be kinda Summery, warm coloured but still with bit of boyish 'hint' if you know what I mean 😊.

I decided that yellow, green and blue will be perfect for my little project.

Yellow cardstock for layering plus colourful, floral paper as a base of my card.

Little playing with dies ( some new 😊), sticking all together, few blue gems and voila!

Card done :)

Hope you like it :)

Flower power

Hi crafty friends!!!

Today I have for you floral card. Bad girl me I'm very rarely using floral images on my creations.

Why?

Not confident enough with my flower/plants colouring... I know I need more practice and Alyce from Kit and Clowder is right about not comparing with others cause we all are on different colouring level, but...  eh that just me :)

For my today's project I choose image called Wild Roses from SheepSki Design.

I decided to use simple layout, floral (with roses) paper from Crayola paper pad Nostalgia, bold lavender cardstock, piece of ribbon and few lavender gems.

I want to enter it to this month SheepSki Designs challenge called: Flower Power, details here: https://sheepski-designs-challenges.blogspot.co.uk/.

What do you think about this card?

Underwater world

Hiya my crafty friends!!!

Today's card I made for challenge: Underwater World sponsored by Papierowy Potwor which is first colouring challenge organised by Polish digi creator/seller - interested? Check info on my friend Ewa blog: http://hubka38.blogspot.co.uk/2017/07/potworne-wyzwanie-1.html.

For this challenge we all have a choice of 3 digis, two of them from Kuleczkowo and one from Potsi.

I choose one of images from Kuleczkowo.

You can find this cutie here: http://www.papierowy-potwor.pl/p/33/1429/digi-stempel-kuleczkowo-syrenka. Not be surprised tho, when buying this one you actually receiving 2 different images with mermaids - nice bonus :).

I'm simple girl, so... my card is simple too ;)

I coloured mermaid and fishes with pencils and cut them out, add bit of glitter glue on.
I choose glittered sea theme patterned paper and layered it on navy blue cardstock. The same cardstock I used for my new fancy oval die cut :).

Then stamped my sentiment, distressed it with scissors and shaded with pencil, stick all pieces together, added few gems and... my card is ready.

What do you think about my new mermaid card?

Till next post friends!

Die cuts challenge

New month - new challenge at Conie Fong Art & Design FB Group 😊.

This time: Die cut/s.

Hmmm I had bit of thinking before I start with this card. Why? My crafty stash is kinda limited from die cuts point of view 😊.

I'm blue girl, but from some strange reason lots of my cards is in pink and lavender 😊. This card too 😊.

Beautiful image called Butterfly Kisses created by Conie was just perfect to team up with Regal Circle Doily from Tonic Studios. You can find this beauty in here: https://www.etsy.com/uk/listing/517084938/digital-stamp-digi-stamp-digistamp?ref=shop_home_active_16

I decided to add 'Thank you' die I have from crafty magazine plus some butterflies (handcoloured ) and result you can see above 😊.

From papers I used silver mirri card and piece of pinkish floral Hunkydory paper. Also added piece of white ribbon for extra texture.

And yes I was playing with glitter glue again  😁.

What do you think about my new card?

Till  next post crafty friends!!!
