Summer Ladies

Today I have three cards for you instead of usual one. Why?

Beautiful new release at Conie Fong Art & Design :)

I tried my hardest to make all three cards different, so... different colour scheme, different layout on each of them.

Meet Summer Bride

I decided to make this card in pink/white colour combo to have a chance to use pale pink handmade paper I found hidden deep in my stash :)
So... simple card design, only 3 layers of paper, piece of ribbon, image and sentiment distressed and shaded on edges with pencils plus bit of glitter glue.
This card turned out sooo delicate in look, exactly as I wanted.

Meet Summer Blossom

Plan for this card was: I want it look kinda shaby chic/vintage, so...
Here we have turquoise, beige, olive and gold. I used 3 patterned papers, piece of ribbon and twine bow for nice feminine finish.
Total fave of my man :)

Meet Summer Dreams

For this sweet image I choose silver/blue colour combo. I coloured image with 2 shades of blue and silver and decided to be rather minimalistic if I can say that :) I choose 2 papers: bold light blue and kinda steel blue floral paper, layered them on silver mirri card, image and sentiment I shaded with pencils and also layered on silver mirri. To balance whole design I add piece of white lace on the bottom of the card.

What do you think about images?
Like them?
Want all of them?

Hope you like my newest creations :)

Dom is colouring

Today I'll show you something made... not by me :)

As most of you possibly already know (from previous posts) I have 5 years old son Dominik. He loves colouring and card making too.

So... today some of his works :)

His versions of image called: Superhero TV from Sasayaki Glitter: https://www.etsy.com/uk/listing/536724785/image-68-superhero-tv-sasayaki-glitter?ref=shop_home_active_6.

This cute caterpillar is  from colouring pages I found on pinterest (Dom is huge fan of Spicebush Swollowtail caterpillar ;) ).

Here his Snowy from Conie Fong Art & Design, image you can find here: https://www.etsy.com/uk/listing/265611623/digital-stamp-digi-stamp-snowy-delivery?ref=shop_home_active_71.

This picture is cooperation with his Daddy :). Daddy was drawing and Dom was colouring - talented boys ;)

Here Father's Day card - Dom is kinda addicted to mermaids :) Stamp used here belongs to Mermaid Wishes set - free gift added to issue 171 of Cardmaking & Papercraft magazine.

I love his colouring and I'm happy everytime he join me in colouring/cardmaking challenges.

That's all for today :)

Christmas in June???

Hands up if you are not thinking or already making Christmas cards my dear crafting friends!

I do think and also make :)

Today my first Christmas card this year with cute image created by Conie Fong.

Meet Snowy!!!

For today's project I choose shades of blue and silver on the image and in papers.

I coloured Snowy with pencils, shaded edges with blue pencil and layered on silver mirri card and add dash of glitter glue on corners. Patterned papers (2 different shades of blue) and sentiment I also layered on silver mirri card. For finishing touches I add bit of glitter glue on stars on sentiment and placed double bow (white/light blue) near Snowy.

What do you think about my Pinguiny card?

Olimpic Challenge at The Wonderful World of Alicia Bel

This month challenge at Alicia's FB group gave me some thinking, really...

Normally we have 2 stamps to choose between, this time.. total freestyle if I can use that term :) We can use any of Alicia's digis basically.

I was browsing Alicia's digis few times before I decided which of them I want add to my digi collection and which of them I'll use on my new card (check Alicia's shop here:
 https://www.aliciabel.com/index.php).

After days of thinking I choose image called: Feather Fans (link here: https://www.aliciabel.com/index.php?id_product=3&controller=product&id_lang=1).

Simple colouring with pink and lavender pencils on fans plus green eyes and brown hair for this little sexy girl, 3 patterned papers in matching colours, all layered on gold mirri card plus few yuta flowers with gold gems, piece of rustic style ribbon and twine bow for finishing touch.

I like how this card turned out :)

What do you think about my newest creation?

Today's project - not only for metal music fans :)

Image I choose today is called simply: Metal babe.
On my card I decided to use few layers of distressed square paper pieces with blue and red patterns. Image and sentiment edges I distressed and lightly shaded with pencils.
For extra touch I added splashes of glitter glue on my Babe hair, guitar and jewellery ;)

Hope you like it :)

ATC? What is it?

Hello peeps!

Few days ago I heard about ATC cards... I was like: What is it? Kind of card? But... What exactly?

If you never heard about them, here you can find some info:  https://www.strathmoreartist.com/cards-atc.html.

What I love about this cards? Answer: you can use anything you have (eg. scraps papers), any technique (eg. mixed media) you wish to make miniature masterpiece - really!

Only rule: size - 2.5 x 3.5 inches. Rest depends from your creativity, your imagination :)

I have lots of scraps, so I thought: Why not try? Results? Check below :)

'Butterflies' - my first ATC :)

I used scrap of green paper which was used for die-cutting butterfies before. I decided to cut this piece to ATC card size, then stamped sentiment on it and placed on piece of white cardstock scrap which I shaded with pencils and stamped in green with little butterflies. To finish my little card I used some glitter glue here and there and added die-cut butterfly, which I shaded with pencils and glittered a bit.

'Birthday' - one more try with ATC.

Glittery, pinky grey little piece with sweet image called : Bella with gift from Conie Fong Art and Design (you can find this cutie here: https://www.etsy.com/uk/listing/525401205/digital-stamp-digi-stamp-digistamp-bella?ref=shop_home_active_12).
To be honest with you I was thinking few good weeks what to do with this image as I coloured and cut it out few months ago... She is perfect birthday girl :) And here I found idea and solution for my crafty dilemma :) I shaded piece of white card with lavender pencil and stamped it with 'happy birthday' sentiment, then added piece of torn patterned paper, scrap of white ribbon and prepared image. To finish it I used bit of glitter glue to give it a little sparkle :)

I love ATC cards me :) I saw some proper masterpieces on net - just check Pinterest or Google it - you'll be surprised!

Hope you like my attempts :)

Cards with cute lizards :)

Cute lizards? - you could ask... Oh yes my friends - cute lizards!

If you are with me for little bit, you saw my cards with images created by Naz from Sasayaki Glitter, so...

Today I have for you card which I made for June Progressive Challenge at Sasayaki's FB group with image called: Dancing Lizards. You can find this image here: https://www.etsy.com/uk/listing/520186476/image-61-dancing-lizards-by-sasayaki?ref=shop_home_active_12

I decided to make simple grey/pink Anniversary card today with only one patterned paper. For layering I used silver mirri card. Image and sentiment I distressed with scissors and shaded lightly with pink pencil, added bow from pink organza ribbon and few lavender gems.

Below my son's creation :)

He decided to join me today :)
As you can see, Dom decided use only one patterned paper for his card, for extra touch he choose piece of pink organza ribbon and some gems in pink and green.

What do you think about our today's cards?

Summer card for boy

Who said cards for boys cannot be cute or colourful?

Honestly lots of cards I saw for men or boys are kinda boring, mostly monochromatic in blue or green or brown, only kiddy cards have more colours if you know what I want to say by that.

I have 2 guys at home, my man and our son and cards for them never were monochromatic, I'm always trying to mix colours on them, yes... true , I'm using blue, but also purple, red, yellow, green :)

Today, birthday boy card with cute image called Birthday Benny created by Connie Fong.

Fact I used blue again on my card :) But... decided to play a bit with papers and colours. Only one patterned paper is mainly blue (we  an say baby blue ). All layers I distressed with scissors.

For contrast I stamped sentiment on piece of bright yellow paper, added few yellow gems and little bow from twine.

What do you think about this card?

One more card for you to see today :)

My son decided join me when I was colouring Benny yesterday and he made a card for his friend's birthday.

He loves bright coloured papers :)

What do you think about his card?

Smile

Hiya Crafties!

Life can be 'so not beautiful' like one of characters in my fave game is saying from time to time...

I'm bit sad lately as my next door neighbour's husband is not in good health... we are all hoping here he will be better soon... so my card making kind of stuck.. I wasn't colouring as much as before, just didn't feel like..

..but I decided to make a card with image I found and bought few days ago...

Meet Bubbles - cutie created by Dina Gerner from Digi Doodle Studios.
Like her? Check Dina's etsy shop: https://www.etsy.com/uk/shop/digidoodlestudios?ref=l2-shopheader-name, she has lots of sweet images there :)

I coloured this cutie-pie with pencils, used simple layout with Summer coloured papers and added some wooden flowers in my little project as you can see.
Sentiment is from Inkadinkado clear stamps set, I shaded it lightly with yellow pencil.

Hope she made you smile a bit.

Till next post friends!

Dragonfly

Hi Friends!

Today I'll show you rather simple layout inspired by card I saw few weeks ago on Pinterest.

In my opinion - nice, clean and beautiful in its simplicity.

For this little project I used one of my fave images from Ching Chou Kuik called: Meet Dragonfly which you can find here: https://www.etsy.com/uk/listing/196478837/meet-dragonfly-digital-stamp-instant?ref=shop_home_active_23

All I needed for today's card was: coloured image, 2 pieces of patterned paper and piece of ribbon.

Image coloured with pencils, colours used: yellow green, emerald green, light blue, ocean blue, red-brown, 2 shades of orange, gold and violet. I partially cut out the image before I place it on my card with foam tape.

Beauty of this layout is in all possible changes/additions you can make in it, only limit is your own imagination.
You can add flowers,  bows, butterflies, gems, change position of second layer, rotate whole layout if to think about few ideas for using this card as a sketch.

What else you can do with this layout?
Write your ideas in comments please 😊.

That's all for today friends!

Till next post!

Pearls

Hello crafty peeps!

Ladies always loved pearls... that's what I think :) Are you agree with this?

Pearls are soooo vintage :)

So... maybe late, but I finally find a time to colour and make a card with great image called: 'Vintage Tea Cups' from We Are 3 (you can find their digi stamps and papers here: https://www.etsy.com/shop/WeAre3/items).

As a vintage stuff for me is visually connected with old sepia photographs for colouring I choose brown, gold and yellow pencils.

I found some sepia/vintage looking papers in my stash, some ribbons, creamy wooden flower and here you are - my new card!

What do you think? Looks ok?

But...

That's not all I wanted to show you today :) My little boy decided just few minutes before leaving home for school, that he wants to colour this image too and look at this:

Beautiful, isn't it?

For boys?

Hello all!

I'm bad... really. Most cards I am making is for girls.. so now something for boys 😊.

Cute image I'm using today was created by Wendy Burns from AllDressedUpStamps, link to her etsy shop here: https://www.etsy.com/uk/shop/alldressedupstamps?ref=l2-shopheader-name.

Image is simply called Dino and if you like it, check: https://www.etsy.com/uk/listing/250804701/dino?ref=shop_home_active_11

I decided to make 2 CAS cards, with not too many layers and huge amounts of extra embellishments, in kind of typical boyish colours.

So... here blue dino

on card with mix of purple and blue patterned papers with some gems.

And here green one

on card with cheerfully coloured papers also with few gems.

Both images are coloured and their edges are lightly shaded with pencils.

My boy loves 'diamond' shapes on cards, what about you?

That's all for now friends!
Till next post!

Summer colours

Hello Crafties!

New month and new challenge at Conie Fong Art & Design FB group :)

Theme: SUMMER COLOURS

My today's card is challenge/inspiration card. Believe it or not finding perfect colour scheme wasn't easy cause I'm trying my hardest to not use all the time the same colour palette on my little projects.

This time I was between pastel/vintage/shabby chic and bold/bright...

For my card I decided to use gorgeous image called Leilani, here link to this beauty in Conie's shop: https://www.etsy.com/uk/listing/267535503/digital-stamp-digi-stamp-digistamp?ref=shop_home_active_44.

For my card I used 2 patterned papers from LOTV (NitWit) in soft pink/green combo layered on bold light green cardstock, image and sentiment I shaded lightly with green pencil and place them on card on foam pads.

I also added piece of white lace on right side of smaller panel, green bow on left top corner of my card and as extra touch few purple gems on right top and bottom corners.

What do you think about this card?

Till next post friends!

Fairy...

Hiya Friends!

Oh, wasn't writing for a bit... midterm break for my lil boy 😊. Also my man took few days of holiday, so we spent some time on short trips.

This cute pie was waiting a bit to be placed on card, so.. today 'Lil Bookworm Fairy' created by Ching Chou Kuik.

I decided to use rather pastel colours on it, soft beige, light blue, gold, bit of red, orange, yellow and olive.
I distressed edges of all layers with scissors and added nice piece of twine with gold thread to make a bow.

We can say kind of rustic look.

What do you think about my card?

Hope you like it 😊.

Till next post friends!
