Bigger canvas...

Hiya crafty friends!

Possibly you remember my playing with pour painting.. I had some fun together with my son to make few 20 x 20 cm canvas.

Last week we were in Lidl's and Dom took from shelf 20 x 60 cm canvas and said we will pour paint them now - we :). I was pretty sure that will be me not we hahahaha!!!

So... first one (ready to be hang on wall):

Can you find a dragon on it?

One bellow is catch in drying out time :)

Dom has another brilliant idea...

When 'we' do all canvas we have (one more left), we buy bigger one!!! Massive one!!!

OMG!

That will be 'huge' fun!

Definitely :)

By the way just realized you didn't saw little canvas made for Libby's birthday... so... here you go

That's all for today.

Unicorns

Hello, hello Crafties!!!

I'm sorry I didn't write too regular lately... Dom is going back to school soon and... really is harder and harder to find something interesting to entertain him...

Today I have for you card with Unicorns from Kinda Cute by Patricia. They are great for eg. friendship cards :)

I made my unicorns colourful and sparkly :)

I decided to use full set, so... my card is bit different then usual :)

Card size: 200 x 125 mm.

For layers I used piece of gold mirri card and piece of patterned paper.

I coloured unicorns with Prismacolor pencils and add gold glitter on their horns.

I resigned from adding sentiment to the card as I decided it is not needed :)

What do you think about this card?

Entertaining kids during summer

Hiya peeps!

Possibly entertaining my boy is the hardest thing this summer... not only for me I bet :).

So... we walk, read, go for bus trips, paint, draw, play, watch TV etc....

Our newest pour paint piece (already in Dom's room).

Looks kinda brownish/purple-ish :) Colours used: red, pink, yellow, green and blue...

Below silly drawing/colouring - team work: me and Dom :)

Forgive me please so dark pics... my mobile hardly cooperate when taking photos :)

What you do with your kids this summer?

Tori the dragon - birthday boy

Hiya crafties!

Today I have for you card with cute image created by Conie Fong called Tori the dragon - birthday boy which you can find in Conie's etsy shop.

For some reason I like colour dragons in green, so... this one is also green :) with splash of violet and chartreuse.

As you can see I used 2 patterned papers, piece of lace and simple layout for my card.

I used Prismacolor pencils to colour Tori, I also shaded slightly edges of image (in green) and sentiment (in violet) with them.

Decided to not add any sparkles or gems to keep this card rather simple and kinda clean.

Hope you like it :)

Till next post friends!

Sympathy card

Hi Crafties,

I'll keep this post short cause...

I'll be honest - I'm not good with sympathy/condolences cards... events like these makes me very sad... specially when I need card like this for someone I know...

Card below I made for our neighbour who lost her husband few days ago... He was nice person, friendly...

I used floral stamp from Inkadinkado and coloured it with Prismacolor pencils.

That's all Friends...

Unicorn for Libby

Hey Crafties!

Today - cooperative work - mine and my son.

Dom is going to birthday party next week. His friend Libby is a proper girly girl, so... lots of pinks and purples :).

Dom decided that Alicia Bel's unicorn will be perfect for Libby's birthday card. He also wanted lots of glitter on it :).

Dom used his pencils to colour the image.
As glitter glue is not easy to apply, he needed a little bit of help here :)

Then we were checking papers, debating how to put them on card, then cutting them and sticking together with sticky tape :)

Dom didn't want any layering for sentiment, so we left it simple and white. He wanted more decoration, so we checked through gems, butterflies and ribbons and he decided pink bow will be great, he even cut the ribbon and stick the bow in perfect place :)

So...

We have card ready, now time to think about some nice gift :)

Bracelet or maybe pinky art piece or maybe both???

Till next post Friends!
