Girl with flowers

Hello crafty friends!

Yesterday we were on little walk to spent some time together with my both boys 😊.

But...

Day without crafting is kinda lost, so...

I coloured cute free image called Thankful Heart from TiddlyInks and used it for new birthday card 😊.

I distressed edges of papers and image, added ribbons, gems and piece of embossed card.

I choose rather simple layout and I love result 😊.

What do you think about my new creation?

Antelope Hello

Hello, hello my crafty friends!!!

Today another not squarish card :) and this time card with animal.

For this little project I choose July's freebie from Patricia Alvarez from Kinda Cute Cards called Antelope Hello.

Card dimensions: 17x11 cm.
I coloured image with pencils and then cut it out. I decided to use 2 floral papers and 2 pieces of ribbon for this project.

I added bit of glitter glue on antelopes horns.

Also had some fun when preparing sentiment for it. I used floral Fiskars puncher on one corner, added some glitter glue on butterflies wings and few green gems in top left corner for extra sparkle.

What do you think about this card?

Mermaid and step panel card

Hi crafty friends!

Have to say I'm very rarely making other cards then square... Today's card is my first attempt with step panel fold.

For this card I used patterned papers from Cardmaking and Papercraft magazine free gift and beautiful mermaid called Liliana created by Conie Fong

Easy tutorial for this kind of card I found in issue 168 of Quick Cards Made Easy magazine.
I need to say I had fun with working on this card, to have all correct panels decorated and all properly stick together.

Glitter glue is my latest crazy addiction as you all can see :)

I wanted my card to be decorated with things which are screaming: SUMMERTIME!  - hope my embellishments choice is at least good :).

Little piece of blue sea glass and shell charm :) Plus few gems near sentiment.

I like how my card turned out. What do you think?

Heartfelt Wishes

Hello my crafty friends!!!

Today little card with cute image from Everyday in Moonbeam Meadow stamp set (Crafter's Companion) - free gift from Quick Cards Made Easy (one of issues from 2015).

I asked my son which papers he would like on this card and above you can see result of these consultations :)

For layering I used purple pearl cardstock and 2 patterned papers: one with purple and ochre accents and other with creamy turquoise floral patterns.

Also decided to add some sparkling :) Bit of cream/gold twine and die-cut butterfly with touch of glitter glue.

A Birdie Note and Geordie :)

Hello crafty friends!!!

I'm not sure how many of you knows where I'm actually living... So..

Since almost 13 years I'm living in Geordieland :) For your information: Northeast of England, not too far from Newcastle upon Tyne, precisely in beautiful Northumberland county.

When people hear Geordies talking, they're often making huge mistake to call chaps from here: Scottish or Irish. Geordies are proud and friendly people and Geordie is a very interesting dialect, you can read about it a lot on internet.

My friend from London was happy when told him, I'm coming to England, but was petrified when found out I'm going to Newcastle... He said: They're not speak English!!!

Honestly I was surprised, how he could say: English people who are not speak English??? My shock came when I landed here :) But I'm used to of it now and I'm happy to call this place my home. I have lots of friends here and this card I made for them as kinda: Thank Yee Aal! card.

For this project I used image called: A Birdie Note from Art by Barb - if you are interested in colouring challenges with her beautiful images, check: https://www.facebook.com/groups/artbybarb/.

I decided to make my card: green, clean and simple with only one patterned paper, then I put sentiment together with my Trodat Printy :)

For all who wants to know what this sentiment means, here's translation:
'Singing for you Darling!'

Want to know more Geordie words?

Check: http://www.englandsnortheast.co.uk/GeordieDictionary.html, on this page you can also find lots of interesting information about Northeast of England, history, festivals, towns and cities, places to visit etc.

That's all for today!!!

Ahoy mate!

Hiya crafty friends!!!

Today - pirate card with cute image from LOTV called: Walk the plank.

I choose 3 patterned papers for this project. All papers I layered on navy blue cardstock. Also coloured image I layered on the same cardstock.

I was thinking hard what kind of sentiment to use on it and then one thought struck me: 'I have Trodat Printy, why not use it to make my own sentiment?'

And.. that's what I did :) Made my own sentiment :)

What do you think about my new card? Like it?

Birthday dragon 😊

Hello my crafty friends!!!

Today little DT card with cute image created by Conie Fong called: Tori the Dragon - Up.

I decided to make this project in shades of green with just few splashes of other colours.

I wanted to give my card some extra texture, so I used some digital papers along with handmade papers (with lots of fibers), paper doily to soften even more its look and piece of ribbon.

Both image and sentiment I distressed with scissors and shaded with pencils.

Hope you like this card.

Till next post!

Summer-y Ella

Hello my crafty friends!!!

Today easy CAS card I made yesterday late evening.

For this card I used only piece of Summer-y patterned paper with boats, piece of turquoise cardstock and sweet image called 'Ella' - freebie from Patricia Alvarez (check her blog: http://kindacutecards.blogspot.co.uk or her Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/kindacutecards/).

As always I coloured image with pencils, for this one: dark terracotta from Derwent Coloursoft, ocean blue, light violet, cherry red and ivory from Artist's Loft.

For sentiment I decided to use clear stamp from Quick Cards free gift designed by Jenny Ellory.

My both men smiled when saw result, what about you? Like it?

Summer birthday

Hello my crafty friends!!! Hope you have brilliant week 😊.

Today Summery birthday card for sea theme and mermaids lovers.

I am blue addict and Summer for me is connected with sea and beach and... stop 😊, to the point woman!

My today's little project is blue/turquoise CAS card with gorgeous mermaid image from Saturated Canary.

I decided to be minimalistic when colouring my mermaid and used only two colours: olive and spring bud (Artist's Loft pencils). I layered image on piece of turquoise cardstock.

For this card I used 2 patterned papers from Crelando paper pack called 'Summer' (in the UK you could find it in Lidl shops).

As kinda colouristic accent is added piece of bright dotted orange ribbon.

To finish my card I added nice sentiment from free gift stamp set 'Mermaid Wishes' from latest issue of Cardmaking and Papercraft magazine.

What do you think about this card?

I'd like to enter this card into the following challenges:
Through the Craft Room Door - Anything Goes
613 Avenue Create - Anything Goes twist of Monochrome

Dom's crafty mojo

We can say my boy was busy crafting lately. Birthday card for school mate, Thank You cards for teachers, card for girl friend 😊.

'Snorkeling' from Sasayaki Glitter is one of his fave images - card for his friend Skylar 😊.

Dom picked papers from Cardmaking and Papercraft issue 171 free gift for this card - I think card looks great, but I'm his mum so... you know ;)

Cute lion on the boat I found on pinterest.

Beautifully coloured landed on birthday card for Aiden. Dom had no problems with choosing papers for this one whatsoever 😊.

Funny birdie from Kajsans was his choice for card for one of his teachers Mrs M. who helped him a lot this year.

Dom picked blue and yellow combo for this card :)

I love birdies from Kajsans :) If you want to know more about them check: http://kajsansscrapblog.blogspot.co.uk/.

When I asked Dom what image he wants to colour for Miss B., his answer was fast: doggie. So.. here you have doggie card (image found on pinterest).

Dom wanted doggie in two colours, so I explained him he can use marker in few places on the image and left rest uncoloured, he also added some random letters on tag.

Dom decided he wants to use floral punches on it (Tracy thanks a lot for your this great gift), so I helped him with it. Choosing papers was easy for this one too 😊.

Sometimes he is soo in rush that papers are 'all over the place', but I love his cards and I'm pretty sure Dom will make many more in future (he coloured 'Walk the Plank' from LOTV already).

What do you think about his cards?

Till next post crafty friends!

Superhero!

Definitely time to catch up :)

Why superhero today? Because I should show you this card last week!!! Bad girl me :)

Today's card was made last week for Progressive Challenge at Sasayaki Glitter. We all worked with funny image called: Superhero TV.

Superhero TV??? - You could ask.. Oh yeah :)

My son pinched first print outs, so I have to print more :)

You saw already his colouring of this brill image in one of previous posts, so..

Time to show you my card :)

I decided to make proper man's card - silver blue combo.
My problem was... yeah, sentiment!

My man watched me digging through my stamp boxes and he asked what I'm looking for. When I told him, he said that: Watch me now! could be perfect.

Fact - perfect, but... I have no stamp like this..

A thought struck me: I have nice black pen, so...

Result you see now on card above :)

What do you think about it?

What a week!!! Even had no time to write here... Made some cards tho :)

Luckily trapped nerve in my shoulder moved a bit so... not hurts that much anymore :)

Received my son's school report and I'm very, very proud of my little man :)

So my crafty friends... for next few days I'll be trying my hardest to catch up with crafty posts :)

Today - Snowman juggling Baubbles :)

Cute Christmassy digi from Conie Fong Art & Design link to this image here: https://www.etsy.com/uk/listing/486610997/digital-stamp-digi-stamp-digistamp?ref=shop_home_active_33

I choose this cutie for my new DT card as this month challenge in Conie's FB group is: Christmas in July or Anything goes :)

I was thinking hard how to make this card and on the end I decided to make it as simple as possible, 2 patterned papers, piece of lace, ribbon with 'Merry Christmas' writing on it, little bit of distressing and shading and..

Voila!
Card ready!

I hope you like it :)

Till next post friends!
